Midori's only just met Asumu and she's telling him all kinds of personal stuff about Hibiki's past. People tell Asumu things. I know this is largely so Mr Exposition can get into the audience's heads, but in-universe? He's reactive, reflective, a listener, a follower, at this point. I have stupid similes in my head about him being like a pool of water, but that's not quite what I'm searching for.

Gah, it'd be so much easier if I could just stick a USB in my head and download it onto the page sometimes. Words are tricky. /whine

Episodes 10 & 11 have been very Ryouma/Hayateish to me. (Though I ship the hell out of Hayate/Hikaru as well. 4 (?) was very Hayate/Hikaru.)

In 10 Ryouma and Hayate have an epic cranky argument to start with. And Hayate gets injured, needs Ryouma's help, Hayate tells Ryouma that when Ryouma told him to go to the Forest earlier it made him happy, they split up to fight and tell each other 'don't die', and there's a flashback to Ryouma pwning Hayate in a training fight because Hayate got distracted. All very sweet. :) I have to gloss over the Miharu parts of this episode, which can be hard because I quite like what I've seen of her (dammit, I don't need another Honami!).

In 11, it's a Gouki episode (AND HOW CUTE IS GOUKI IN LOVE WITH YUUTA'S TEACHER OMG HE'S ADORABLE) but in the beginning when Papa Aoyama asks for their help? Ryouma says he and Hayate have too much work. Hayate thwacks Saya and Hikaru over the head about them offering to do it, because what would they do?! Then Ryouma (iirc) says Gouki's the only one who can go.

THEY ARE SO MUM AND DAD.
